Strengths
In this dynamic learning environment the department is well equipped and trained with the use of online learning resources. The department apart from academics has undertaken training programmes for the students further the department has the capability of providing analytical skills required for data analysis.

Weakness
The institution runs in the evening where a large number of students earn and learn. Sometimes the inability to attend all the course lectures finds it difficult to update and upgrade themselves. Further there are restrictions on various activities that the department can conduct.

Opportunities
The use of ICT based tools to overcome this weakness is a striking opportunity that the department is looking forward to. Adds on courses and skill development courses are the areas which can be tapped to enrich the students.

Challenges
The main challenge is to gather maximum students for these adds on or skill development courses as due to paucity of time most of the working students are likely to face the time constraint.
