About College

Way back in 1998, Dombivli was a city with number of Junior & Degree Colleges accommodating thousands of students. However, there was not even a single College which could cater to the needs of employed youth. The Rashtriya Shikshan Sanstha rose to the occasion & started its Night College in 1998, thus claiming a rare distinction of pioneering the Night College Concept in Thane district of Maharashtra. In spite of the short innings it has played, our College has become an instrument in providing access to Higher Education to employed for promotion in job or social status & thereby transforming the social fabric of the area. These laurels have brought faith and fame to the institution.
In adherence to its mission, the College has been catering to the educational needs to the rural and even the first learners of the society. To motivate these students and channelize them towards academics and orient them to actively participate in co-curricular, extra-curricular and extension activities is a challenge. The College has been contributing to the upliftment of the academically and economically challenged section of society by empowering and equipping the first generation learners to become better citizens. The College was accredited with ‘NAAC in 2007 in its first cycle and reaccredited in 2016 for its second cycle. It is also an ISO 9001:2015 certified standard institution.
